NEC PHILIPS UNIFIED SOLUTIONS LAUNCHES NEW UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS PORTFOLIO BASED ON MICROSOFT LCS
Hilversum, The Netherlands - June 27, 2006 – NEC Philips Unified Solutions today launched a new portfolio of Unified Communication solutions based on Microsoft Live Communication Server. This significant addition to the portfolio is a result of the partnership between NEC Philips Unified Solutions and Microsoft and integrates the company’s overall IP and TDM communication offering with Microsoft’s solutions based around LCS, Sharepoint and CRM.
This cooperation between two leading ICT companies combines in-depth experience and expertise in desktop applications with that of real-time enterprise communications. The powerful combination is set to deliver considerable increase of efficiency and productivity in enterprise communications.
With this launch NEC Philips Unified Solutions introduces a totally unified concept that integrates all communication channels such as IM, telephony, conferencing, video and e-mail, and includes presence management. The solution can be extended with seamless integration of existing Operator, Contact centre, CRM and workflow applications in combination with SIP-DECT and GSM messaging.
The concept can be customized to fit existing customer front and back office environments, assuring directory integration and enabling single point of management.
