SLICAN TO INCLUDE SIP DECT OF NEC PHILIPS IN ITS MARKET OFFER OF MOBILITY SOLUTION

Hilversum, The Netherlands – Slican, a renowned manufacturer and market leader of PBX systems in Poland, has chosen SIP DECT systems of NEC Philips Unified Solutions to extend its portfolio of mobility solutions offered to the market.

Over past months Slican has investigated various options for completing its portfolio to meet the increasing need of organisations for wireless communications. Thorough evaluation showed that the advanced and attractive Business Mobility portfolio of NEC Philips matches the requirements of Slican and its customers best. Slican performed integration between its telecommunication servers and NEC Philips’ SIP DECT system.

Slican will source NEC Philips’ SIP DECT radio base stations and handsets from MCX Systems, provider of comprehensive telecom and data solutions and business partner of NEC Philips in Poland. MCX Systems will also take care of 2nd line support activities on behalf of NEC Philips.

MCX Systems supports Slican in commencing sales and is convinced that the added value of these mobility solutions will be another distinguishing factor for further success in Poland and the other territories it serves.

“We want to address Eastern European markets with more impact and are pleased to find in Slican and MCX Systems a significant expansion of our market reach in Poland”, states Ad Ketelaars, CEO of NEC Philips Unified Solutions. “This not only is a further confirmation of the strength of our mobility solutions, but also of strategic importance in the development of our market reach and business volumes in this region. The expertise of Slican and MCX Systems in voice and data systems and services will be of great value in further developing the market and offering customers expert solutions.

“The capabilities and portfolio of NEC Philips in the area of wireless and mobility are extremely powerful,” says Czeslaw Noga, Director and Member of the Board at Slican. “Our recent investigation confirmed once again how unique their SIP DECT solutions are. Our customers will benefit considerably from this best-in-class mobility offer”.
